Designed for a Mexican family with three sons, this penthouse was conceived to create a home that feels warm, elegant and highly functional.
To improve both the layout and everyday living, several structural changes were made. We closed one of the kitchen entrances and a small window to create a more generous and efficient kitchen. The bathroom adjacent to the main bedroom was transformed into a private en-suite, connected exclusively to the master bedroom and seamlessly integrated with the dressing area.
The three boys’ bedrooms were designed to be elegant, timeless and intentionally similar, reflecting the family’s request for a cohesive aesthetic. The apartment also includes a dedicated home office and a spacious terrace overlooking the city.
The living area is defined by walnut wood panelling, crystal wall sconces and a comfortable lounge centred around a bespoke Minotti sofa. A large custom rug softens the space, while carefully selected furnishings create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.
The dining area features a generous marble table beneath a crystal chandelier, framed by breathtaking views of Lake Lugano—allowing the landscape itself to become the room’s most striking decorative element.
